ITINERARY

Day 1 - Rome
Transfer to hotel on your own, overnight.

Day 2 - Rome/Assisi/Siena/ Florence
Breakfast at hotel, depart 7:30am from hotel Diana by deluxe motor coach to Assisi. Time at leisure to visit the famous San Francesco's Basilica, with Giotto's and Cimabue's masterpieces. (free time for lunch, not included). Drive on the “Autostrada del Sole”, to Siena, a gothic city spread across three hills in the heart of Tuscany, encircled by ancient walls, famous for its splendid “Piazza del Campo”, where the “Palio” takes place. See the Palace and Cathedral. In the afternoon proceed to Florence. Dinner, overnight at Hotel.

Day 3 - Florence
Breakfast at hotel, morning tour of Florence with its Dome by Brunelleschi, Bell tower by Giotto and Baptistery. Continue through Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio and the church of Santa Croce. Time at leisure and return to hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4 - Florence/Pisa/ Padua/Venice
Breakfast at hotel and depart to Pisa. Visit the famous Piazza del Campo, (Square of Miracles) with Cathedral, Leaning Tower (Romanic bell tower) and Baptistery. After, continue to Padua for a short visit of St. Anthony's Basilica, Continue towards Venice, the city of gondolas. Dinner, overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 - Venice
Breakfast at hotel and visit this mysterious city built on 177 islands, 150 canals and 400 bridges. Sightseeing includes a panoramic of St. Mark's square and Doge's Palace (external). During the morning stop in one of the famous Murano glass shops. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner, overnight at hotel.

Day 6 - Venice/S. Marino /Rome
Breakfast at hotel and depart by private motorcoach from Piazzale Roma to San Marino. Arrive in one of the smallest states in the world that has its own currency, stamps and preserves its political system for nine centuries. Lunch (not included). In the afternoon arrival in Rome. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7 - Rome
Breakfast at hotel. Depart at 8am to visit this famous city and its artistic beauties among which: Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Castel Sant'Angelo and St. Peter’s Square with its Basilica. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8 - Rome/Naples/ Pompeii/Sorrento
Breakfast at the hotel. After leaving Rome, the coach will take the “Sun Route”, through Lazio and Campania, with a view of the Abbey of Montecassino. Upon arrival in Naples there will be a short panoramic city tour of Mergellina, Castel dell'Ovo Plebiscito Square, the Royal Palace, the Maschio Angioino and the port. Lunch in a restaurant on our way to Pompeii and then visit the excavations of the famous Roman city, destroyed by Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Leave Pompeii and drive along the coast to Sorrento. Dinner and overnight.

Day 9 - Sorrento/Capri/ Rome
After breakfast board a boat for the Island of Capri where, weather and sea conditions permitting, visit the Blue Grotta in small rowing boats. Lunch in a restaurant and free time. In the afternoon depart to Rome, arrival and overnight.

Day 10 - Rome
Breakfast at the hotel. End of services.
